Alberta Pointer-Bell

Alberta Pointer-Bell, 47, of Little Rock, Ark. got her wings and went on to be with the Lord on October 2, 2014. A native of Lee County, Sis. Pointer-Bell was preceded in death by her husband Minister Johnny Lee Bell Jr. and her only child, Justin Andrew Norris. Mrs. Pointer-Bell was a sharp, joyful strong willed person who loved the Lord and had a zest for the youth and worked faithfully as the youth department director at The Church of the Living God, Mother Temple in Wrightsville, Ark. until her demise. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: her parents Mr. and Mrs. Theodis Pointer Sr. of Marianna, Ark., four sisters; Clarice Pointer-Watson of Grand Prairie, Texas, Erma Pointer-Storay(George) of Sherwood, Ark., Rosetta Pointer of Little Rock and Evelyn Pointer-Ricks of Jacksonville, Ark.; five brothers, Theodis Pointer Jr.(Jesse Mae), Marvin, Gregory, Larry and Korey Pointer all of Little Rock, a sister-in-law, Vonnie (Douglas) Allen of Arlington, Texas and two brothers-in-law, Charles (Diann) of Little Rock and Nathaniel Bell of West Memphis, Ark. a host of spoiled nieces and nephews, precious aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 11, 2014, 1 p.m. at The Church of the Living God, Mother Temple, 15018 Hwy. 365 South, Wrightsville, Ark. Her first cousin Elder A. Keith Smith of Louisville, Ky. will be officiating. Family hour will be Friday, October 10, from 6 till 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences can be sent to P.O. Box 6352, Sherwood, Ark. 72124.
