Mary Beth Fortenberry

Mary Beth Fortenberry, 73, of Little Rock, died Monday, October 6, 2014. Mary was born December 17, 1940 in Cabot. She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Armstrong; husband, John F. Fortenberry; and son, Jimmy Scott Strayhorn. Mrs. Fortenberry was a member of Archview Baptist Church and retired from the Arkansas State Police. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by mother, Fern Peters of Little Rock; children, Nancy Thomas of Little Rock, Lisa Gunter and Glenn of Benton, Steven Styers of Little Rock, and Gerald Styers and Jennifer of Collierville, TN; siblings, William, Harold, and Jerry Armstrong, Diane Kennedy and Debbie Preator; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
