Jim W. Reddin

Jim W. Reddin, age 76, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014. He was born November 28, 1937 at Tinsman, Arkansas. He was the oldest son of Clarence and Nellie Tomlinson Reddin of Hampton. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Paige, and one brother, Phil Reddin of Hampton. Jim was a long time member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the American Legion Post #1, F.O.E. Post # 60, the Arkansas Cattlemen's Association, and a dedicated farmer for many years. He was retired from Krebs Brothers Supply Company and also worked for Dixie Equipment Company in Little Rock. Jim enjoyed his retirement years growing vegetables on his farm in Mabelvale. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Janet Reddin; two daughters, Kim Peters of Fayetteville and Keena (Tom) Waleszonia of Jonesboro; one brother, Charles Reddin (Linda) of Duncan, Okla.; and two step-children, Wendy Fletcher Davis of Cabot and Jimmy Fletcher of Ozark; grandchildren, Cooper Peters, Grant, Grayson, and Jack Ross Waleszonia, Benjamin and Brianna Davis, and Zack and Jesse Fletcher. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Camp Ground Presbyterian Church in Hampton with Rev. Garland Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery.
