Louise Featherston

Louise Featherston, age 87 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Mrs. Featherston was born April 14, 1927 in McKamie, Arkansas to Andrew and Nettie Hill. She was a longtime member of Canfield Baptist Church and became a member of Rafter J Cowboy Church in Hope. Mrs. Featherston was preceded in death by her parents; husband, C.W. Featherston; son, Homer Featherston; and three sisters. She is survived by two sons, Steve Featherston and wife, Darla of Hope, Ark. and Jeffery Featherston and wife, Becky also of Hope; two daughters, Judy Golden and husband, David of Arkadelphia, Ark. and Joanna Billingsley and husband, Glen of Violet Hill, Ark.; two brothers-in-law, John L. Featherston and wife, Shirley of Lewisville, Ark. and Terrell Delaney of Emerson, Ark.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Ark. with Bro. Charles Bell and Bro. Terry Evans officiating. Interment will follow at DeMoss Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Rafter J Cowboy Church in Hope; Serenity Hospice in Texarkana; the DeMoss Cemetery fund or Canfield Baptist Church.
