Jeffrey Tyrone Ramsey

Jeffrey Tyrone Ramsey was born on December 2, 1964 in Pine Bluff. He was the son of Patricia Bennett-Ramsey of Little Rock and the late SMSG (Ret.) Robert Lee Ramsey. Jeff attended high school at both Pine Bluff and Watson Chapel, graduating from Watson Chapel, in 1983. He also attended college at both the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving, devoted and wonderful wife, Charlotte Ramsey; sons, Bradford Ramsey and Darrius Ramsey both of Pine Bluff; daughters, Patrice (Marcus) Franklin of Arlington, Texas and Valyncia Ramsey of Pine Bluff; sisters, Monica Ramsey and Stephanie Ramsey both of Little Rock, Yolanda (Deon) Flie of Olive Branch, Miss. and Phylicia Ramsey of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Uncles, Gregory Bennett of Pine Bluff and Larry Bennett of New Orleans, La.; aunts, Ruth Brentley of Macon, Ga. and Benetta Williams of Pine Bluff; grandchild, Jaiden Flowers of Little Rock and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 at New Community Baptist Church, 321 Birch St., Pine Bluff at 12 noon with Pastor Patrick Lockett Minister and Pastor Renice L. Davis eulogizing. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Kingdom of God Ministries, 700 Grant St., Pine Bluff, by Perry Funeral Home of Pine Bluff.
