Luanna Bauschlicher

Luanna Bauschlicher, 81, of Corning passed away Oct. 8, 2014 at home. Mrs. Bauschlicher was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, church activities, cooking, crossword puzzles, gardening, and yard work. She was a member of Farm Bureau Women's Committee and Corning Harvest Festival Committee. She was also a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning where she taught Sunday school for more than 40 years and served the church in many other capacities. On Oct. 18, 1953 she married Eugene Bauschlicher. They were married 53 years when he preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2006. Survivors are a son David (Lynn) Bauschlicher of Corning; a brother Jerry Fischer of Rose Bud, Ill.; two grandsons Chris Bauschlicher and Will (Olivia) Bauschlicher both of Corning; a great-grandchild Macy Bauschlicher; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents William and Emily (Mueller) Fischer; and siblings Linda McCaffrey, Wayne, and Herbert Fischer. Visitation will be Saturday at 12 noon at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Corning until 2 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor Jon Bischof officiating. Burial will be in Corning Cemetery under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home of Corning. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 399, Corning, Ark. 72422.
