William Harry Riley Jr.

WILLIAM HARRY RILEY JR., 52, of North Little Rock, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014. Bill was born Aug. 15, 1962 in Queens, N.Y. to William Harry Riley and Rosemary (Mulvey) Riley. He is preceded in death by a step-daughter, Yvonne Christine. Bill served 12 years worldwide in the US Air Force, then served 5 1/2 years in the 96th Aerial Port Squadron at Little Rock Air Force Base. He was a police officer for the Little Rock Police Department for 9 years and was of the Lutheran faith. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Catherine (Clegg) Riley; his mother, Rose Sarsfield and husband John; children, Ellen, Amanda and Devlin; sister Darcy Sarsfield and one grandchild. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014 at Hope Lutheran in Jacksonville, followed by interment at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock.
