G. W. Tyler, 75, of Alexander, Ark. passed away Oct. 16, 2014. He was born Jan. 24, 1939 in Carbon Hill, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Tyler and Lola Tyler; brother, Gene Tyler and the mother of his children, Mary I. Tyler.
G. W. is survived by his wife, Christine; two brothers, William Tyler and wife, Sarah, and Virgil Tyler and wife, MaryAnn; one sister, Betty Jean Moncrief and husband, Jim; three sons, Phillip Tyler and wife, Cheryl, Richard Tyler and wife, Debbie, and James Tyler and wife, DeEtte; two daughters, Patsy Osborn and husband, Billy, and Katherine Moore and husband, Vic; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; special step-son, Larry Hill and his wife, Karen, along with a host of family and friends who will always miss him.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Smith- Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St. Benton, AR 72015.
