Richard J. Bowen, 80, of Perryville, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014. He was born Dec. 12, 1933 and was a veteran.
Richard remained a devoted architect to his profession which he loved with all of his being. His family will miss him dearly, he was also devoted to them without reservation.
The family: Marie A. Bowen, wife of 58 years, a refuge from war torn Europe after WWII whom Richard gave all his love and a home; daughter, Monique Tyhurst and husband Richard, he was always proud of her; granddaughter, Ashley Tyhurst Roberson and husband Marcus, she always brought a smile to his face; grandson, James Tyhurst who was his soul mate in endless discussions about architecture and history.
To all of his friends who have supported the family with prayers and good wishes thank you all. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Harris Chapel with Bro.
