Troy Marvin Steele

Troy Marvin Steele, age 70, of Bauxite passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014. He was born April 11, 1944 in Ft. Smith, Ark. Mr. Steele was a dispatch supervisor for Safeway/Harvest Foods and was a member of Brooks Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert G. and Effie Steele, and a brother, Milbren Hickman. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Cobb Steele of Bauxite; son, Clinton Wade Steele of Bauxite; three brothers, Gene Hickman of Arkadelphia, Robert Leo Steele and wife, Betty, of Texarkana and Marion Lee Steele of Little Rock; sisters, Mary Venable and husband, John, of Alexander, Julia Sewell and husband, Jesse, of Ashdown and Judy Pate and husband, Roy, of Texarkana; daughter-in-law, Terry Steele of Little Rock; sister-in-law, Marjorie Hickman of Royce City, Texas; sister-in-law, Linda Hall of Hot Springs; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Venita Sampson of Las Vegas, Nev.; three grandchildren, Amos, Rachel and Rebecca Steele; cousins, Jimmy and Sue Blackwood of Trophy Club, Texas and JoAnn Young of Edmond, Okla.; lifelong friends, Danny and Bolita Stewart of Little Rock and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. Bro.
