Barbara Gail Lavender Moore, 54, of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on October 19, 2014. Barbara was a devoted wife, sister and aunt. She enjoyed keeping up with her nieces and nephews on Facebook. Barbara touched many lives and had many friends. She was an excellent organizer of family reunions and recently enjoyed reuniting past friends and classmates of Mills High School.
She is survived by her former husband of 29 years, Ferrell Bradford Moore Jr.; father, John Douglas Lavender; brothers, James Douglas Lavender (Gayle), John Paul Lavender (Lori); sister, Betty Jo Lavender Matthews (Jeff); nephews, Nick Lavender (Ashley), Drew Lavender (Lauren), Hunter Matthews; nieces, Jamie Lavender, Lindsey Lavender, Emily Bemis (Jeremy), Leah Lavender. Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Ola Faye Lavender.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October, 23rd at 10 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
