Betty J. Smith

of North Little Rock, AR, 1927 - 2014

Betty J. Smith, 87, of North Little Rock went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 18th. She was born in Vanndale, Ark. to parents, Andrew and Ella Rosalee Camp in 1927. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Robert W. Smith.
Betty is survived by her children Pam (Ray) Roberts of N. Little Rock, Robin (Mimi) Smith of Louisville, Ky., Patricia (Ron) Garrison of Russellville, brother, Ray (Linda) Camp of Little Rock, grandchildren Chris (Krissy) Roberts, Jeff Roberts, Tina (Cory) Highfill and David (Josephine) Yeargan and her beloved great-grandchildren, Casey, Jacob, Parker, Lilly, Catie, Madison, Ayla, Justin and Ethan and her special friend, Marilyn Phillips.
Betty was a devoted member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, serving as a Crusaders Sunday School teacher and Bible Study Fellowship Leader for over 20 years as well as a member of the Gardner Quilters. Betty loved most of all to cook for and spend time with her family.
A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22nd at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer Street, North Little Rock. Funeral Service will follow at 10 a.m. with internment in Rest Hills Memorial Park immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer St., North Little Rock, Ark. 72114.
