James "Jimmy" Harvey Bowles III

James "Jimmy" Harvey Bowles III, 48, of Little Rock passed away Friday afternoon October 17, 2014. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father James Harvey Bowles, Jr. and his grandparents James Harvey Bowles, Sr. and Dollie Mae Bowles. He is survived by his mother Sandi Bowles Chaffin, sisters: Cathy Lee (Tim), Denise Carroll (John), Sandra Bowles Johnson, brother: Ellis Ray Chaffin, aunt: Allison Furge (Jay), uncle: Denis Glenn (Anita) along with many loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives. "What man is a man that does not make this world better," was a saying that Jimmy strived to live by. He was a man with a big heart who made a home wherever he lived and opened it up to both family and friends. He was born in Ft. Wayne, Ind. on December 6, 1965 and spent his youth being raised (and raised some hell too!!) in Columbia City, Ind. He eventually settled in Little Rock, Arkansas where he made it his second home. We are planning a Celebration of Life Service in Indiana during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. This is not goodbye. It's an "I love you" to take with you until we see each other again.
