James Michael Fitzpatrick

James Michael Fitzpatrick, 62, Austin, born Feb. 24, 1952, passed away Oct. 23, 2014. James was a loving father who mentored and guided his children and grandchildren. He was a 20-year veteran of the Air Force. He also had a passion for reading and history. He is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Marguerite Fitzpatrick; brother, Robert Dennis Fitzpatrick; mother of his children, Kanika Thompson. James is survived by children, John Fitzpatrick of Austin, Ark., David Fitzpatrick of Little Rock, Ark., and Joseph (Sarah) Fitzpatrick of Dagsboro, Del.; and their step-mother, Chawiwan Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Joey and Jaycee Fitzpatrick, both of Dagsboro, Del., and Michael Fitzpatrick of Fairbanks, Alaska; one brother; five sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
