Elsie Mae Ashcraft, 85, of Alexander, Ark. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014. She was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Sheridan, Ark. to the late A.N. Ward and Thelma Dortch Ward. Mrs. Ashcraft was a member of Temple Baptist Church for almost 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carolyn Sue Ashcraft and sister, Ethel Faye Torres.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Ashcraft; daughters, Linda McGloflin, Diane Fischer, Peggy Cooper; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Louise Workman.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Oct. 28, 2014, at Temple Baptist Church, 10710 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
