Merrell J. Williams, Jr. passed away October 25, 2014 at the age of 64. He left this earth to meet his Heavenly Father and be reunited with loved ones who had passed on before him. He was a proud Navy veteran and recently retired as a mechanic/welder.
He leaves behind his wife, Carolyn. They were high school sweethearts and were truly dedicated to each other for the 44 years God blessed them together. He also leaves behind a son, Edward Lee (Jennifer); grandchildren, Brock and Kylie Williams, Lane Herrington, Shealeigh Smith; great-grandson, Tristen Smith; brother, Marty Williams (Pam); special cousin, Janet Hesson; best friend, Brent Logan; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, Merrell Sr. and Barbara.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 29 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 17201 Arch St., Little Rock; followed by a one hour visitation. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com.
