Gerald Wayne "Snuffy" Smith, Sr. peacefully passed away on October 28, 2014. He was born on July 5, 1939 in McGehee Arkansas to the late Dolphus and Marie Smith. A retired manager at Southwestern Bell and a well known professional photographer. He is survived by his wife, Paula Bone Smith, daughter Sharon (Phillip) Roberts, son Gerald Wayne Smith, Jr. (Denise) and granddaughters, Sophie and Maggie and bonus grandkids, Brittney, Maegan, Allen, Merritt, and Allison, sister, Peggy (Royce) Grable and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was an avid golfer and loved the Razorbacks and Cowboys. Wayne never met a stranger and was loved and admired by many. He was a generous man with his time and talents. We will miss him every day. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 2 p.m., and the visitation will be at 1 p.m., prior to the service at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 19200 Interstate 30, Benton, Arkansas with Dr. Terry Parrish officiating.
