Orajean Tollett Wilson, born November 8, 1946, went home to be with her Lord, on October 29, 2014, after a battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was 67 years old. She was born in Texarkana, Ark., to the late Thomas Oran Tollett and Eris Eloyce White Tollett. She was a long time resident of Little Rock, Ark. Orajean was a faithful follower of Christ who enjoyed studying the Bible. Over the years, she shared what she learned as a Sunday school teacher at Temple Baptist, Geyer Springs First Baptist and LifeWay Baptist Churches. She was also musically talented. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in the church choir and in ensembles. In addition, she played the piano and enjoyed playing in the hand bell choir. She expressed her creativity through scrapbooking and cross-stitch. Orajean brought joy to the many lives she touched. She made each person she met feel special. Orajean attended Southwest Jr. High, and graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1964. She went on to Central Baptist College in Conway, Ark., graduating with an Associate's degree in 1966. She then obtained a Bachelor in Psychology at the State College of Arkansas in 1969. While attending CBC, she met the love of her life, Phillip Leo Wilson. They married on October 2, 1970. Phill and Orajean are the loving parents of Erin Leigh Wilson Roy (wife of Kerry), of Little Rock, Ark., and Jennifer Megan Wilson McEuen (wife of John) of Memphis, Tenn. Orajean was the proud Nana of Hannah Caitlyn Roy, Madison Bailey Roy, William "Liam" Thomas Roy, Sean Alexander McEuen, Grace Eloyce McEuen, and Hope Eloise McEuen. She is also survived by her younger brother Thomas Tollett and sister-in-law Janie, of Memphis, Tenn., niece Tracy Tollett Price of Knoxville, Tenn., Abbey Tollett Alman, of Memphis, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at LifeWay Baptist Church, 800 Wellington Village Rd., Little Rock, Ark., on Saturday, November 1, at 1 p.m. The Reverend Paul Sanders will officiate. The family looks forward to visiting with friends and loved ones following the service. To sign her guestbook, visit www.arkansasfuneralcare.com. Arrangements made by Arkansas Funeral Care.
