Ronald Joseph Scarborugh

Ronald Joseph "Joey" Scarborough, 66, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Joey was preceded in death by his father, Zannie M. "ZM" Scarborough and a nephew, David Piper. Joey was a Navy veteran, where he served two tours in Vietnam as a Seabee and Diver. After the military, he worked for the Arkansas Highway Department and retired as an Inspector Supervisor of Construction. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Dooley Scarborough; his mother, Ruth Scarborough; three daughters, Shannon Covan (Jerry), Suzanne Hill (Shane), and Amy Scarborough; sister, Sandra Cash (Dale); and five grandchildren, Sydney Scarborough, Jordan Brookings, Kristin Hill, Kayla Hill and Joseph Caskey and host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72116 (501-791-7400). Interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2014 at the funeral home.
