James vernon Washington

James Vernon Washington, 53, of Little Rock, transitioned August 29, 2014. Surviving him are his mother, Emma Washington; daughter, Pamela Gordon; granddaughter, Precious Gordon; bother, Herbert Washington; two sisters, Abya Williams and Alberta Martin-Jones ()James); nephew, Morris Hinton (Wanda); nieces, Valerie Hinton, Monique Hickman (Chandler), and Willa Williams; special friends, Denise White and Richard Moore; along with a host of great-nephews and nieces, family members, and friends. The family hour will be Thursday, September 4, 2014, 6-7 p.m. at Pleasant Hill CME Church, 3801 E. 38th Street in College Station. James' funeral service will be Friday, September 5, 10 a.m. also at the church. The interment will follow at Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery.
