Jim Boyle

Jim Boyle, a resident of Camden, died September 01, 2014, at home. Jim was born in Clarendon on December 25, 1934, to Mary Eugenia and James Franklin Boyle Sr., both of whom predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patsy Boyle; and a daughter, Barbara (Craig) Seal of Shreveport. Jim is also survived by three siblings, his brother, Ronald Boyle of Paron; and two sisters, Betty (Chuck) Ratcliff of Little Rock, and Janet Martin of King's Mountain, North Carolina. Jim was raised in Clarendon and educated in Clarendon public schools. He later attended college at Arkansas State Teachers in Conway and Henderson State Teachers in Arkadelphia. Jim served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. There will be a graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be at the cemetery tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Instead of flowers, Patsy requests a gift to the donor's favorite charity in memory of Jim. Arrangements are by Proctor Funeral Home.
