Nina Tillery, 80, of Hot Springs, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday night, August 31, 2014. She was born May 23, 1934 to the late Charlie and Imogene Bell. She retired after teaching second graders at Lake Hamilton Schools for more than 25 years. She was a devout Primitive Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Imogene Bell, by her husband of 43 years, Cecil M. Tillery, by a daughter, Marla Tillery, and by a son, Lamont Tillery. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Tillery (Marilyn) and Derric Tillery (Lindsay) and a daughter, Sherry Truitt; two grandchildren, Nikole Harper and Jake Tillery; four great-granddaughters, Nikita Harper, Nikiyah Ganus, Mya Craven, and Monika Craven; and one great-great-granddaughter, Kabree Harper and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs. The celebration of life and bible truths that she believed will be at 10:30am on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Gross Funeral Home. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery on Danville Road.
