Eleanore Louise Hritz, 62 of Jacksonville, died Friday, August 29, 2014. Eleanore was born December 5, 1951 in Buffalo, N.Y. to the late John and Eleanore Ruth (Nolan) Downey. She was generous and loving to all her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Richard Hritz of Jacksonville; children, Tracy Ann Brownfield of Humboldt, Iowa, David Simmons of Jacksonville, and Michael Simmons and wife Tiffany of Ward; step-daughters, Marcida Faulkner of Birmingham, Ala. and Katrina Marie Hritz-Saffell of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Jay Downey of Buffalo, N.Y.; and sister Charlotte of Buffalo, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main St., Jacksonville. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Rest Hills Memorial Park, with Greg Rozenski officiating. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com.
