Skylar Leigh McDonald, age 15, of Bauxite, went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2014. She was born September 23, 1998 in Benton, Arkansas.
Skylar is survived by her parents, Olean L. McDonald, Sr. and Pia Celestine McDonald of Bauxite; two brothers, Timothy Prophitt of Mabelvale and Olean L. McDonald, Jr. of Bauxite; three sisters, Hope Stewart of Clarksville, Jessica Steelman of Shannon Hills and Tiffany Mullins of Shannon Hills; grandparents, Derrall and Jean Cunningham of Bauxite, Stella Castro of Texas and Wayne and Jan Ballentine of Joplin, Missouri.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 4 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, September 5 at Ashby Funeral Home. Bro. Rick Porter will be officiating. On-line guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
