Jerry Wayne Beck of Mabelvale, born October 4, 1950, in Noxapater, Miss. (County of Winston) to John Henry Beck and Edna Parker Beck He was the fourth of the five children. He was predeceased by both parents, John Henry Beck and Edna Parker Beck, and two brothers, Henry Eugene Beck, and Jackie Lamar Beck. He is survived by his wife, Teri Beck, two daughters, Teresa (Randy) Beck-Dormier of Mineola, Texas, Cindy (Scott) Beck-Butler of McKinney, Texas, four grandchildren; Morgan, Christian, Jessica and Gracie, and two sisters, Pat Bruce of Madison, Miss. and Faye Beck of Byram, Miss. He was a native of Noxapater, Miss., lived with his family early 1951-1953 in Springfield, Mo. moving back to Noxapater after the untimely death of his father. Jerry attended school in Noxapater and Nanih Waiya High School prior to moving to Jackson, Miss. in 1967 and resided there until 1987 when he moved to Memphis, Tenn. for a year driving for the USPO, then transferred to Arkadelphia where he lived until recently moving to Little Rock, Arkansas. He loved football and played on the team all the way through high school. He was always an entertainer sharing funny stories about life, friends and family and even about himself, if it would make others smile and laugh. Jerry always loved reading the Bible even as a young boy and sharing the scriptures. He was also the favorite of a couple aunts and one of his uncles. He served his country by joining the Army and did his tours in Vietnam. Jerry was a very patriotic man and loved this Country. Jerry was an active member of Highways and Hedges Motorcycle Ministry. He loved to Share the Gospel with all he met, and he never met a stranger. His love for the Lord was always first and foremost with all he did. A Celebration of life will be at the Iron Horse Church, 12611 Chicot Rd., Mabelvale, Ark. 72103 on Saturday, September 06, 2014 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Iron Horse Church in Mabelvale, Ark.
