Billy R. Leftwich

BILLY R. LEFTWICH, 71, of Sherwood passed away Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014. He was born May 1, 1943 in Ash Flat, Ark. to the late Beulah and Joe Leftwich. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Darlene; older brother, Loyd and his twin brother Rayburn. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. After four years of electrical apprenticeship school, he worked for Local union 295 of IBEW for several years. He then went to work as an electrical inspector for the city of Sherwood until he retired. He is survived by his wife of 49 and half years, Joyce Sory Leftwich, and two daughters, Lisa and Kristy. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116 (501-791-7400), with Pastor Bob Wigel officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
