Coy Robertson

Coy Neal Robertson, 74, of Benton, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014. He was born May 7, 1940 in Union City, Tennessee to the late J.T. and Lorene Robertson. Mr. Robertson served in the U.S. Army and retired from Alcoa after 22 years as an electrician. He was a former Board Chairman of Alcoa Credit Union and a member of the Congo Masonic Lodge. Mr. Coy was a member and deacon of New Life Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to fish. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Robertson of Benton; son, Randy Robertson (Millie) of Little Rock; daughter, Tammy Naramore of Benton; five siblings, Bobby Robertson (Dorothy) of St. Louis, Missouri, Charlotte Lee, Patsy Harmon (Charles), Paul Robertson (Dorann) and Brenda Gray (Larry) all of Union City, Tennessee and three grandchildren, Blake Naramore, Eli Robertson and Ellie Robertson. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, September 11 at New Life Baptist Church with services beginning at 11 a.m., Dr. Sid Sample will be officiating.
