Beverly Ann Buendtner

Beverly Ann Dickerson Buendtner, 82 of Conway died Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Salem Place Nursing Home in Conway. She was born June 9, 1932 in Conway to the late George Douglass Dickerson, Jr. and Bertha Louise Beverly Dickerson Little. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Conway and was past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Herman Buendtner, who died in 1996 and brother, George Douglass Dickerson III. Survivors include two sons, Victor Buendtner of Tyler, Texas and Herman “Buddy” Buendtner of Conway; one daughter, Dianne Jordan of Star City; three sisters, Gladys Louise Neeley of Alberta, Canada, Salliejane Rainey of Little Rock and Donna Susan DeGeorge of Stockton, Calif.; seven grandchildren, John Jordan of Fayetteville, Mark Jordan of Memphis, Shannon Buendtner of Alabama, Nicholas Buendtner of Red Oak, Texas, Steven Buendtner of Conway, Anthony Buendtner of Conway and Chris Franz of San Antonio, Texas; 17 great-grandchildren. Graveside Services are 1 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Drake Cemetery in Star City with Wayne Jordan officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Local Visitation will be 12-1 p.m Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
