Ellon J Morse

Ellon J. Morse, 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born May 27, 1941, in Sugarland, Alabama, a daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Paty. Ms. Morse retired from Alltel, where she was a book keeper for 11 years, prior to her career with J.A. Riggs Tractor Company for 25. Ellon loved working in her yard and gardening when she could. She was a devoted mother and was active in her daughter’s lives, taking them to YWCA and softball and basketball practices and games. She is survived by her daughters, Lori A. Morse of Richmond, Virginia and Karen L. Morse of Little Rock; brothers and one sister, Charles Paty of Greenbrier, Arkansas; Francis Jensen of Sheridan, Arkansas; Claude Paty of Greenville, Texas; and Harley Paty of Sheridan, Arkansas. The family will hold memorial services for Ellon at 1 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2014, at her daughter, Karen Morse’s home. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth.
