Carolyn Croom

CAROLYN CROOM, 70, of North Little Rock, died Sept. 12, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center, NLR. She was born Aug. 22, 1944 in Russellville to Fred M. and Frances Rye Croom. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in NLR. She graduated from North Little Rock High School and UALR where she was a Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Col. Fred & Frances Croom; and step-mother, Lorene Croom. Survivors include her uncle, Vim X and Marian Rye; two cousins, Vicki and Wayne Head and Debbi Rye; three step-siblings, Howard and Judy Martin, Al and Denise Martin, and Diane Bryant. Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 at Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.
