Mary Fern White

Mary Fern White, 83, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away in Tucson, Ariz. on Aug. 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Ina White; brother, Owen "Leon" (Jean) White; and niece, Linda White. She is survived by nephews, John (Pam) White, Robert (Marilyn) White, Douglas White; great-nephews, Sam White, Chris (Michele) White; niece, Bonney Huggler; and great-great-nephews, Carter and Keaton White. She retired from the Little Rock AFB in 1991 as a civilian secretary after 36 years of service. Mary was a kind and gentle soul. She had a deep love and compassion towards all of God's creatures, and was an advocate for the humane treatment of all animals. She regularly donated to various animal shelters and organizations. Mary also had much love, appreciation and respect for her family and her many friends. She loved to travel, and had very fond memories of vacationing to new and exciting places with her friends. Her passing has left a void with many hearts, and she will be sorely missed. With great love from her family and friends.
