James "Jimmy" Fred Johnson

Mr. James "Jimmy" Fred Johnson, 66, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at UAMS Little Rock, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jimmy was born October 18, 1947 in Hope, Arkansas to Fred Leo and Odette Evans Johnson. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, William "Bill" David Johnson. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan Pierce Johnson of El Dorado, Arkansas; one daughter, Kristi Cobb and husband Chris of Texarkana, Texas. Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 between the hours of 5-7 p.m. at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas. Memorial service will be Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas with Rev. Stan Parris officiating.
