HERBERT "BUTCH" HARRIS was born Aug. 18, 1940 in Memphis, Tenn. He passed away Sept. 20, 2014 at his home in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Louise Harris; brother, Clarke and son, Ricky. He is survived by his wife, Nora Harris; three children, Ronnie Lynn, Debbie and Melissa; six grandchildren, Kristy, Ronnie Wayne, Kenneth, Angela, Trista and Sheena and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Harris shared a wonderful, happy marriage with Nora for 46 years. He retired from the maintenance department at St. Vincent's Hospital after 30 years of service and was a member of Mabelvale Church of Christ.
His funeral is 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
