Robert "Wendy" Wiltshire

Robert Joseph "Wendy" Wiltshire died at home September 19, 2014. He was born in Wynne on August 13, 1941, to W.E. "Jake" Wiltshire and Doryce Fisher Wiltshire, who predeceased him. He is survived by his brother Warren Wiltshire of Ridgeland, MS, and several cousins. Wendy was educated in the Wynne school system and the Arkansas Childrens Colony. He worked at Addison Shoe Company and Cross County Sheltered Workshop. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church. His greatest joy was in watching youth ball games and he was at different times recognized as the number one fan of little league baseball and the Wynne Yellowjackets. The family would like to thank all of the community, who watched out for him over the years, and everyone associated with Southern Independent Living, where he was so well cared for in recent years. Services were at First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 21st, with burial at Cogbill Cemetery. Kernodle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the church or charity of choice.
