Frank Paul Pratt

Frank Paul Pratt, Jr, of Little Rock, AR passed away Monday, September 22, 2014, Frank was born on July 23, 1921 in Little Rock, Ark. He graduated from Little Rock Senior High and Little Rock Junior College. After gaining consent from his parents, due to his age, he joined the Army. On D-Day, 1944, he went in on Utah Beach at Normandy. He was the recipient of two Purple Hearts and other various medals. Frank was a long time member of First Christian Church. He had served as deacon, elder, Sunday School Class President and song leader; for 30 years he served as sound technician for the traditional worship service. He enjoyed working with the food pantry. It was important to Frank to arrive at Church early each Sunday to greet worshipers. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Hanson Pratt, daughter, Kim Syler (Mark) granddaughter, Ashley Hilliard (Don), granddaughter, Shannon Henry and great-grandson, Matthew Henry, brother-in-law, Bill J. Hanson, niece, Holly Hanson, nephew, Jeff Hanson (Shelley) and their children, Savannah, Jackson, Sully and Luke. He is preceded in death by his son, Hanson Pratt. A reception and visitation will be held at First Christian Church on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 12:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
