Ron Bubb

Ron Bubb, age 72, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord September 18, 2014. He was born on November 1, 1941 in Burnham, Pennsylvania. He was the son Palmer E. and Athalia May Bubb. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Stan Bubb; and sister, Joan Wright. Survivors include his wife Linda: daughters, Lisa Sciortino, Paula Whiting and Debbie Tanner; brothers, Bob Bubb, Larry Bubb, and Bill Bubb; sisters, Karen Smith and Jane Myers; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four nieces; six great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew. Ron was a Master Sergeant E-7 in the United States Air Force for 23 years. He was a member of the 42nd Air Division, 308th Strategic Missile Wing, and the 308th Security Police Squadron. He served two terms in Vietnam. He was a member of the Air Force Expert Membership Team and traveled the world competing and participating in the exhibitions. What he was most proud of was his family, and his years of service protecting and serving his country. His service medals included Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with four Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with one Silver and one Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with four Oak Leaf Clusters, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon with One Oak Leaf Cluster, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon with a Bronze Star, and a Security Police Master Qualification Badge. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church and more recently proudly served with Habitat for Humanity, which he dearly loved. Ron also enjoyed fishing, woodwork, camping and traveling. Ron was very generous to his family and to charities such as the Wounded Warrior Project, World Vison, and St. Jude's Hospital to name a few. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and the best Uncle Ron in the whole wide world. We love you to the moon and back. The family has chosen to have a private service.
