Carlton H. Wright

Carlton H. Wright, age 86, of Rye, Ark., died Friday Sept. 26, at the V.A. Hospital in North Little Rock, Ark. Born Sept. 21, 1928 at Rye, Ark., a son of the late Clyde Wright and Mary Esker Adair Wright he was a Disabled American Veteran of the Korean War, where he was one of the few in his unit that survived, a Purple Heart recipient, retired from Thomas L. Green Corp. and a Baptist. Survivors are three brothers, W.C. Wright, Indianapolis, Ind., Damon Wright, Rye, Ark., Jerry Adair, Rye, Ark.; two sisters, Sybil Vinson, Rye, Ark., Virginia Sullivan, Columbia, Tenn.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death was a step-son, David Freeman; and a brother, Richard Wright. Graveside service with military honors is 2 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 30, at Enon Cemetery in Rye, Ark., by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday Sept. 29, at Frazer's.
