Thomas Earl Bolson Sr. 94, of Hot Springs Village, Ark. passed away on Jan. 16, 2015. Tom was born Jan. 26, 1920 in Eureka, Kan. to Thomas Bolson and Mary Fritts. Tom was an avid golfer and he was in the Card Club, RV Group, Anglers Club, Shriners, Elks, Chat & Chew and Dance Club. He was a member of the Christian Church. Tom worked for 40 years as Train Master for the Missouri Pacific Railroad and he retired in 1980 and moved to Hot Springs Village. Tom is survived by his life partner, Beverly Bongard; his son, Thomas Bolson Jr. and wife, Mary Ann of Albuquerque, N.M.; three grandchildren, Kamy & Mike Villarreal of Folsom, Calif.; Kathy & Greg Smith of Russellville, Ark.; Craig Bolson of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jacob Morris, Josh Villarreal, Nick & Trisha Smith, Bailey Smith, Kirby Smith, Jaxon Smith and Lucas Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife, Frances B. Bolson; his daughter, Judith Ann Colby and his siblings, Lula, Dorothea, Edna, Laura, Carolyn Mae and Howard Henry. A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6 at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs Village. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Village Library or the Village Anglers Club.
