Katlyn "Kate" Elizabeth Parker, 22, of White Hall, Ark. was born October 23rd, 1992 in Ruthweiler, Germany. Katlyn passed away on January 29th, 2015. Katlyn graduated from White Hall High School in 2011. Her genuine love for Christ and her family were the most important priorities in her life. She was a faithful member of Family Church of White Hall where she always graciously dedicated her time and talents in the church's children's' ministry. Katlyn had a special love for children. She impacted the lives of so many and was a role model to them all. She was a student at Southeast Arkansas Community College where she was studying Early Childhood Education. She worked at Ms. B's School Days where her "Bee Babies" lovingly called her "Ms. Kate". Katlyn is remembered as a fun loving, passionate, generous, and spunky spirit with a smile that lit up any room she walked into. Katlyn's sparkly and vivacious personality radiated as bright as the Heaven's above. Her fur babies, Travis and Louie, were a constant presence of her compassion for animals. Katlyn's generous heart was shared with all who she encountered. She impacted the lives of everyone she met and everyone who knew her loved her deeply. One of Katlyn's amazing talents emerged inside of "Kate's Cupcakes", where she baked and shared her yummy creations with everyone she knew. Her motto was "Taste and see that the Lord is Good!" Her God given talent helped her create a successful business where she was able to pass on her blessings to several charitable organizations and countless individuals. Katlyn is survived by her parents, Lori and Dan McDonald of Redfield and Doug and Kellie Parker of Morrilton; paternal grandparents Donna (Jim) Rogers, John (LaNell) Parker, Floyd and Sue McDonald; maternal grandparents, Len (Sue) Hunt, Pam (Harold) Freeman; brothers, Shooter and Brodie Parker; sister, Stacy (Jeremy) Thomas; aunts, Linda "Dia" (Donald) Batson, Monica (Jason) Lay, Theresa Urias; uncles, Bill (April) Hunt, Greg (MaryAnn) Parker; niece Abigail Thomas; nephew Sawyer Thomas; cousins DJ, Hunter, and Ava Batson, Bodie Hunt, Chris and Zack Gifford, Jacob Lay, Jennifer (Nate) Smith and Christina Sikes. Along with countless other family, friends, and loved ones. Memorial services will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Family Church White Hall. Flowers may be sent to Family Church White Hall. Donations can be made to the Family Church-Redfield Building Fund, 2500 Highway 104, White Hall, Arkansas 71602 in honor of Katlyn Parker.
