Mildred Sirmon

Mildred Sirmon, 86, of Dermott, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village, Ark. Mildred was born on August 16, 1928 in Montrose, Ark. to the late Edgar Lee and Annie Ruth Kilebrew Collins. She grew up in Montrose, Ark. and lived in Arkansas City and McGehee before moving to Dermott 13 years ago. She worked in the Real Estate and Property Management business. Mildred loved to garden and grow flowers. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Sirmon and her daughter, Dorothy Lee Burns. Survivors include her sons, Billy Joe Cotton of Crossett, Ark., Charles Wayne Capps of Carysville, Fla., and Carroll Wayne Sirmon of McGehee, Ark.; daughters, Linda Ruth Shehan of Dermott, Ark. and Mona Lisa Averett of Dermott, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
