Rolland Eugene Hill, 72, of Roland, passed away February 1, 2015. Born on July 31, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee to Rolland R. and Ella Tedford Hill, he was a professional musician with the bands, The Right Track and Outrageous, and spent the last 33 years with the Agape Band. He was the owner/operator of Gun Hill Gun Smith. He is survived by his wife, J. Zig Hill; sons, Louis K. Cryer of Roland and Shane Montgomery of Conway; daughter, Shawn Hill Hallman (Mark) of Benton; sisters, Ellason Castiglione and Nancy Roseberry (Bill), both of Hot Springs; and three grandchildren, Rebekah Hallman, Lenee Montgomery and Jeremy Montgomery. The family would like to thank the SICU staff nurses as well as the nurses at the long term acute care unit at Baptist Medical Center, and Dr. Mary Searcy, Dr. Joe Pevahouse, Dr. Benny Green, Dr. Robert Lavender and Dr. Cidney Scott Hulett for their loving care. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Friday, February 6 at 10 a.m. at Agape Church, officiated by Rev. Happy Caldwell and Rev. Scott Stewart, followed by interment at Salem Cemetery at Lonoke.
