Laverne Baker 70 of Hayworth, Okla. died February 3, 2015. She was born February 28, 1944 in Prairie County to Charlie and Littie Cochran DeViney. She was predeceased by her parents; siblings, Mary Lou Rogers, Vivian DeViney and Charles Deviney. She was of the Baptist faith and a former caregiver. Survivors: her children, Joe Moody of Hayworth, Okla., Roy (Pam) Moody of Lonoke and Judy Smith of Hot Springs; one brother, Kenneth (Duanna) DeViney of Colliervielle, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Amber Moody, Aaron Qualls and Rebecca Wilson; three great-grandchildren and her extended family. Memorial service: 1-4 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Bayou Meto Baptist Church in Lonoke, Ark. with a potluck to follow. Guest registry is at http://www.carriganmemorial.com.
