Georgia Nell Blackburn Pope

Georgia Nell Blackburn Pope, 91, of Conway, Ark. entered Heaven's gates Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. Born Dec. 26, 1923 in Garland County, Ark. to the late George and Nellie Blackburn. She was a homemaker and mother of eight children before going to work at Teletype where she retired to Conway in 1996. She is survived by her children, Jolene Dale Pope, Cheryl (Bill) Calvert, Marilyn Yeargan, Joan Draper, LaJeanna Mack, Joelene (Joe) Fullen, Jerry Pope and James Pope; a host of 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR 72209 (501) 455-5800. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sunshine, Ark. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
