John F. Eeckhoudt

John F. Eeckhoudt, CMSGT USAF, Ret., born July 13, 1942 in Seattle, WA, died February 3, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center after a long battle with lung cancer. He was a Vietnam veteran, retiring from the US Air Force after 26 years of service. He was also a member of the Pine Bluff RC Model Airplane Club. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Anne Eeckhoudt of Pine Bluff; sister-in-law, Jo Rogers; nephew, Jason Rogers (Heather) and grandnephews, Jacob and Clay Rogers of Pine Bluff; nieces, Krista Peppers and her children, Catherine Rose and Sophie Peppers of Conway, and Carlin Reeder and her children, Blaine and Peyton Reeder of Benton, La.; a son; Frank Eeckhoudt of Bangor, Pa., and a daughter, Allison "Missy" Rush of Bethlehem, Pa. He is also survived by a brother, Jim Eeckhoudt, two sisters, Jeanette Eeckhoudt and Judy Ratner; nine nieces and nephews, all of Seattle, Wash. John is also survived by numerous friends and will be truly missed by all. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday February 14, 2015 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Arkansas Children's Hospital, Little Rock. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
