Beverly Josephine Zaryac, 87, of North Little Rock, Arkansas peacefully passed away February 1, 2015 in Fernadina Beach, Fla. She was born August 19, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan. Beverly died surrounded by love. She spent her last day with her sister, brother, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beverly was a longtime and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Beverly was the oldest of seven children and a natural caregiver. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan where she met and married the love of her life, John Albert Zaryac (Johnny) on January 14, 1946. They moved to Azusa, California in 1960 where they lived until moving to North Little Rock, Arkansas in 1979. Beverly was the center of her adoring family. She was kind, loving and compassionate. Her family will miss hearing her sing songs like "Grandma's Little Honey Pie", "I Am A Child of God" and "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree." Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John; her son John Zaryac Jr.; daughter Linda Croft and her husband Dan; daughter Susie Bentley; her parents, Mary Jane Strickland and Andrew Ferguson Firth; three sisters, Mary Jane Carbajal, Pat Mayfield Blackwell, and, Valerie Johnson; her brother, Larry Firth; and her grandson, Steven Gaines. Beverly is survived by her brother Tom (Jerri) Firth of Bluffton, South Carolina; her sister, Penny Davis of Detroit, Michigan; her son, Kim (Jackie) Zaryac of San Diego, California; her daughter Lori (Ike) Ludy of Yulee, Florida; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be interred at Maumelle Cemetery with her husband. Oxley – Heard Funeral Directors, Fernandina Beach, Fla.
