Margaret "Virginia" Stevenson, 90, of Rogers, Arkansas died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Jamestown Nursing and Rehabilitation of Rogers. She was born December 5, 1924 in Chireno, Texas. She enjoyed singing and reading. She was a dedicated member of Memorial Baptist Church located in Spring, Texas for over 40 years. She taught several children's classes early in her years, and later in life she led many Ladies' Bible Classes. She loved her family, and was proud of her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since February 2006 after moving from The Woodlands, Texas. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband of 67 years James Stevenson, five siblings, and one great-granddaughter, Madeline Calais Will. Margaret is survived by: one daughter, Donna Stephens and her husband Jim, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and one son, Glenn Stevenson and his wife Pamela, of Marble Falls, Texas. She is also survived by:four grandchildren; Darek Stephens of Rogers; Elise Will, of Wisconsin; Blake Stevenson and wife Lisa, of Austin, Texas; and Caryn Stevenson of Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Hope Will and Jameson Will-McCarten of Wisconsin and Brent and Brandon Stevenson of Austin, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at Bentonville Church of Christ "The Lodge" from 9:30 a.m. until service time. A celebration of her life will be at "The Lodge" at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. A private family interment will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer's Association in Bentonville.
