Frances Mary Rector, born December 14, 1926 in Morgan City, Louisiana went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2015. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Maud Romaire, sister, Vivian Darnell and brother, Amos Romaire. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Jacob S. Rector, brother, Donald Romaire and his wife, Betty, daughter, Cathy Ferguson and her husband, Bill, grandson, Jacob Ferguson and his wife, Laura and two great-grandsons, Ethan and Tyler as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Frances' love for her family was unsurpassed. She and her husband, Jacob, shared 68 years of marriage and were truly inseparable. Frances and her daughter, Cathy, were best friends and shared a special love and talent for baking. She and her son-in-law, Bill, were kindred spirits and loved one another as mother and son. Frances loved her grandson, Jacob, so much, and he was her pride and joy. Nothing brought her more pleasure than to visit Jacob and his wife, Laura, and their two children, Ethan and Tyler. Frances was a bright light in this world and brought so much joy and love to everyone she met. She never met a stranger and loved people. Anyone who came in contact with Frances instantly fell in love with her and her contagious humor and wit. She had a smile for everyone and in turn, brought a smile to everyone's face. This world was a better place because of her. Frances will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home on Thursday, February, 12th, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock. www.griffinleggett.com.
