George Caristianos

George Caristianos, 94, of Hot Springs went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2015. He was born January 7th, 1921. Loving survivors include his younger sister, Michae Stathakis of Houston, Texas; five children, Nancy Cummings, Rollin Caristianos, Carolyn Russell, Rebecca Kaczenski, Rosemary Scherer. George was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. George was a volunteer in many other aspects, and organizations in the community including Oaklawn Lions Club, where he was a charter member. George followed his wife, Margie's term as Hot Springs City Alderman. He was inducted into the Arkansas Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007. A celebration of George's life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 14th, 2015 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church-Hot Springs with Rev. C.B. Baker officiating. A reception will follow the service. Immediately after the service George will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
