Ronald H. Byrd, Sr.

Ronald H. Byrd, Sr., 72, of Sherwood, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015. He was born September 29, 1942 to Riley and Sadie Jane Byrd. He was an Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad and retired after 34 years. He was a member of Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church and was an Air Force Veteran. He was an accomplished Dominos player. He is survived by his wife Nadine "Nan" Byrd; two sons, Ronald Byrd Jr. of North Little Rock and Robert Byrd and wife Janette of Corvallis, Oregon; and by a sister, Joyce Taylor of Elizabethton, Tennessee. Memorial services will be Sunday, February 15, at 2 p.m. at Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Rest Hills.
