Bobbie Lee Custer McElroy, 78, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away February 11, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Warren McElroy and sons, Lawrence (Terry) and Ron (Beth). Bobbie also leaves her six grandchildren: Madison (Joe), Mallory, Mariah, Hunter (Staci), Emily, and Sophie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Lela Custer. Other family survivors include sister in-law, Shirley McElroy, and her children, John and Kelly. Bobbie was a 1953 graduate of Central High School and retired after a long career as Secretary/Treasurer of Rock City Furniture Company. Most recently she worked for Roller-Chenal Funeral Home where she was able to pursue her life-long passion for helping people through difficult times. Bobbie's devotion to her husband through 61 years of marriage was an example to all. Bobbie's family always took first place in her life, and she never missed an opportunity to participate in the activities of her grandchildren. Bobbie's love for her family was only rivaled by her affection for her cats. Bobbie was an active member of Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton. The funeral, officiated by Wayne Elkins and Dr. Terry Parrish, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, (501) 224-8300 with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
